To Anoint The Most Holy
Daniel's 70 Week Prophecy Of The Cross And Coming Tribulation And An Answer For Why The End of Church Age Is Unknown

How I use Scripture: unless quoted directly with quotation marks (““) the chapter and verse references are where you can find the verses in the Bible. I encourage you to read them, how else will you know if I’m quoting correctly? My job is to bring alive the treasures of scripture, from the new and the old, to help you study and seek God for yourself.
This is the duty of the Scribe (writer) / Teacher (explainer) Matthew 13:52
I have added parentheses to the KJV verses to emphasize the point being made, rather than leave the reader to figure it out on their own. Unless otherwise noted, all scripture is quoted from the King James Version which exists in the Public Domain.
Let’s Deal With Daniel’s Prophecy and Document The New Testament Fulfillments
Too many believe it was Jesus Christ who prophesied the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple and those who refute the prophecy claim Daniel never wrote his book. Well, Daniel did write his book, and the mysteries have been revealed to unlock the events of the end times. It was not Jesus Christ who prophesied the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple, but Daniel the Prophet. Jesus Christ simply reminded the priests and Pharisees, confirming Daniel’s prophecy, Matthew 24:15, Mark 13:14.
I’m also going to explain via scripture why the church age seems so long and the Lord appears to tarry until the mocking is at a fever pitch. It’s all in scripture, and confirmed by Jesus, it just takes the Holy Spirit to reveal it. This article was going to be very short, but then the Lord wanted it to be longer. This will answer many nagging questions, the same as all my other posts. And from this post I will take a couple sections and make them into Light Snacks.
“Most Holy” always refers to things about Messiah.
Moses said ‘That Prophet’ Would Speak The Words Of His Father
“I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren (Genesis 49:8), like unto thee (like you Moses), and will put my words (the words of the Prophets) in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he (Jesus) shall speak in my name, I will require it of him (he shall die in his sins).”
Deuteronomy 18:18-19.
The Words Of God The Father Are Found In The Words Of The Prophets
A prophet like Moses would be born among the Jews, and God would put the words in his mouth that had already been spoken by the Prophets, and any that do not believe his words will be put to death, which means they will go to hell if they do not repent. Jesus Christ in the Gospels is the most terrifying prophet of them all. His words, his father’s words, are final. Verse 19 applies to whosoever, not just the Jews. God changes not. What he spoke in the Old he spoke in the New. So those of you who refuse to read the Old Testament are in for a big surprise.
“Remember the word that I said unto you, the servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. He that hates me hates my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause,” John 15:20-25 (Psalm 109:3.)
God gave them blanket salvation as his people when they followed him, from the days of Moses until the Cross. But when Deuteronomy 18:19 came to pass, they were not serving God, they did not know God, and they refused to hearken unto God’s words spoken by Jesus, therefore he blinded them until they come to him for salvation.
The Jews did not know God when Jesus came into his public ministry, as prophesied by Malachi the Prophet. John the Baptist was the greatest prophet because he brought all of Judah, David’s tribe, to repentance. But the tribe of Levi (the priests and Pharisees) did not repent. Levi was the designated slayer of the sacrifice, as he chose to become when he slew the men of Shechem. In God’s mind all that was left of Israel were the tribes of Judah and Levi, Judah and Jerusalem as prophesied by Ahijah the Prophet, 1 Kings 11. The tribes of Judah and Levi were all that was needed to make sure the Cross was carried out to provide mankind with an escape from the penalty of the Law, which is spiritual death.
In Genesis is found, the foundation of the Cross and all the players, the children of Jacob, the children of Israel, who self-selected their roles. Yes, they self-selected their roles from the beginning. God merely waited to see their behavior, their actions determined the prophecy of their end time roles.
You don’t need understanding of scripture to be saved, but you cannot understand scripture until you are saved.
Israel Born In One Day - Isaiah 66:8 Fulfilled May 14, 1948
The Lord told Daniel to seal up the book until the time of the end. The time of the end is when the last week, the ‘last seven’ is about to take place. And the set up for the last week began the day when Isaiah 66:8 was fulfilled, May 14, 1948. The nation of Israel was born in one day.
“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased,” Daniel 12:4.
Do we not run to and fro with increased knowledge? Yes we do.
Daniel’s 70-7s The Prophecy Of Jesus Christ And The Roman Destruction Of The Temple And Jerusalem And The Tribulation
“Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people (Jewish Race) and upon thy holy city (Jerusalem), to finish the transgression (7 year Tribulation)** (see Leviticus 26:18,21,24,28), and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity (The Cross), and to bring in everlasting righteousness (Jesus Christ), and to seal up the vision and prophecy (to finish the work of God as a covenant for man to be saved), and to anoint the most Holy (Matthew 26:12-13, Mark 14:8-9, Luke 7:46, John 12:7 ) Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem (Ezra 6:1-3, Nehemiah 2:1) unto the Messiah the Prince (Entrance into Jerusalem, Matthew 21), shall be seven weeks (to restore and rebuild), and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times (49 years to rebuild). And after threescore and two weeks (483 years) shall Messiah be cut off (the Cross in April 33 AD), but not for himself (to save believers): and the people (the Romans) of the prince that shall come (Nero) shall destroy the city and the sanctuary (70 AD); and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined (desolations until 1948),” Daniel 9:24-26.
I’ll take the bold scripture text above and use it as section headers below:
Seventy Weeks To Finish The Transgression Of The Jews & Jerusalem
**Notice above it says 70 weeks (sevens) or 490 years total. Subtract 7 sevens to rebuild the city and temple after Babylonian captivity (49 years). Subtract 62 sevens (434 years) to arrive at the 33 AD Crucifixion. Then, one week of years remains, 7 years, to punish the Jews and Jerusalem for their transgression of unfaithfulness and unbelief as promised in Leviticus chapter 26, the seven times punishment, the time of Jacob’s Trouble. Three blocks of time that will play out in the future. By this time Daniel was a very old man and he knew he would never see these events.
Modern preachers do not teach about the Jewish Tribulation from the book of Leviticus. But there it is on the page in black and white. They jump to telling about the Antichrist prophecy and how he will confirm a covenant of peace, and it can be confusing to the reader when studying alone. So I’m closing the gap for you. The Leviticus 26 “Seven Times” punishment is the prophesied Great Tribulation, also called the Time of Jacob’s Trouble by Jeremiah the Prophet, Jeremiah 30:7. Jeremiah would not have known without understanding Leviticus 26.
To Make An End Of Sins And Reconciliation For Iniquity And Bring In Everlasting Righteousness (To Bring Jesus Christ Into Jerusalem)
To make an end of sins is to remove sins previously only covered by the blood of animal sacrifices under the Law. Only the blood of Jesus Christ spilled on the altar, the Cross, removes sins. Today the sacrifice is repentance with faith in his Blood.
Reconciliation for iniquity and to bring in everlasting righteousness was done at the Cross. Jesus is the God-Man, God in the flesh, God who took on human flesh to be accounted among the sinners to be the sin bearer for all of humanity, like the sinless animal sacrifices. A sinless animal was needed in human form because the DNA of man was corrupted. We see the ram with its horns caught in a thicket of thorns, a crown of thorns in the story of the sacrifice of Isaac, then we see the tent in the wilderness large enough for one royal person dwell in. A parable mystery: the Savior would be sinless and men’s beliefs would transform from believing animal blood cleansed to believing the blood of God’s sinless son would cleanse and put an end to sin. The Jews called themselves the sons of God, so it wasn’t abnormal for Jesus, the one born among them to call himself the Son of God, especially when the Prophet Agur in Proverbs 30:4 announces there is a Son of God and demands to know his name.
In typology “[Moses chose] rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them,” Hebrews 11:25-28.
The transfer of faith from the blood of animals to the blood of one sacrificial subsitute man as pictured in Isaiah 53 (which they refuse to believe), is the stumbling block of the Jews. They also refuse to believe the prophecy of Jacob in Genesis 49 and the prophecies of Zechariah whom they murdered between the altar and the temple. Their unbelief even in the God of the Old Testament keeps them from coming to faith in Christ. Therefore God cloaked their understanding with the vail of Moses from the wilderness camp that they should not see until they believe Jesus Christ is the Savior.
“And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is abolished (the Law): But their minds were blinded: for until this day remains the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses (the Law) is read, the vail is upon their heart (they don’t adhere to the Law even when they say they go to Temple). Nevertheless when it (a Jew) shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away,” 2 Corinthians 3:13-16.
Jacob’s prophecy that the priestly order of Levi would be abolished is not believed. In the wilderness when the people saw God and heard his voice, they wanted to hide from him and told him to no longer appear to them. Moses went up on the mountain where his flesh died and his spirit glowed through his skin and they feared, so Moses put a vail on his face, so they could not see because they told God they didn’t want to see.
Because the Jews refused to see, God put a spiritual vail over their hearts the same as the vail over Moses’ face because they don’t want to be saved, they want no part of it outside of their religious practice. Even today. They continue to conduct their religion but there is no faith in it, and Kabbalah is Babylonian witchcraft as was shown to Ezekiel. When Jesus was at the Temple he meted out judicial blindness upon the Jews who refused to believe because they said they could see but did not, John 9:39-41. Before the Cross they were blind, and after the Cross they were blinded for unbelief. But at any time they come to faith in Christ the vail will be lifted. Paul was blinded on the road to Damascus because the judicial blindness had hold of him. He remained blind until he could see, then the scales fell from his eyes.
We are reconciled to God when we accept Jesus Christ as Savior, the mediator/arbiter between God and man, as Job called for in Job 9:33. When we begin to follow him and learn of him and begin to change our behavior to conform to his behavior, no longer walking in our ignorant lusts but with the wisdom of the Spirit, in Christ, there is now no condemnation to those who are actively repenting and seeking to be led down the narrow way that leads to life.
As you repent you come out of the world. The world fights back and it's up to you to keep your faith. You may still sin, but God will change you according to your repentance. Many call themselves Christian but have yet to find the strait gate.
“Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able,” Luke 13:24.
Moses was the type of Christ accounting himself with the Hebrew slaves rather than with the Pharaohs even though he might have been the next Pharaoh, just as Jesus accounted himself among sinners even though he was God in the flesh.
Jesus Christ is The Law of God, The Word, The Truth, Everlasting Righteousness. He keeps the Law. Man cannot keep the Law, Paul said it was enmity against us to show us our sins. The Law laughed at us in condemnation. But throughout the Old Testament, the Lord in Hebrew would say, Yeshua, Jesus, Salvation.
God is holy, and only God knows all the intents of all the hearts. God keeps his Law and judges righteously. Because Christ came, the Law of Moses for salvation was abolished at the Cross. Now the glorified man Jesus Christ lives, the embodiment of the Cross. The Law no longer provides a covering for sin, however it contains the lessons to learn from and reading it will teach you to war in the Spirit and reading it will break curses off of you, just reading it. Many say they no longer have to read the Old Testment. That’s like saying you don’t have to honor your Father in Heaven because the Old Testament is where His words are written. What?
“And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness,” Psalm 9:8.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God,” John 1:1.
“Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6. This statement pulls from many verses in the OT.
“Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth,” Psalm 119:142.
Jesus Christ is the law of God, He is God, the Word, the Truth, Everlasting Righteousness. Thy law (Jesus Christ) is the truth (Jesus Christ).
To Anoint The Most Holy - Who Performed The Anointing?
Daniel 9:24 says the Most Holy would be anointed. The Most Holy refers to the Trespass Offering, the Sin Offering, and First Fruits Offering. All three point to Jesus Christ. He is the Holy One of Israel and the Old Testament Word of the LORD, God’s Servant, and Lord of Hosts, who sacrificed himself for our sins.
The anointing was performed by Mary, sister of Lazarus, in Bethany in Simon the Pharisee’s House. Simon the Leper, Matthew 26:12-13, Mark 14:8-9, Luke 7:46, John 12:3,7.
“12 For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.
13 Verily I say unto you, wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her.”
Matthew 26:12-13, Daniel 9:24
Mary the sister of Lazarus poured the alabaster box of oil onto his head, and she also washed his feet with her tears and dried them with her hair, John 12:3. The feet of homeless people are the most abused parts of their bodies, swollen and very painful with terrible toenails. This woman ministered unto the Lord when no one else would even ask a servant to wash his feet. This is what repentance looks like. A washing of filth away from your spirit with tears of thankfulness and reverence.
From The Going Forth Of The Commandment To Restore And To Build Jerusalem / The Street Shall Be Built Again And The Wall
There is a repetitive doublet in the next phrases as the blocks of time are laid out, which means it will come to pass. I am compressing them. Daniel 9:25 says there will be a command to rebuild, lay the street and build the wall again. Ezra holds the story of rebuilding the city the temple and the street. Nehemiah holds the story of rebuilding the wall.
Who gave the command and when did it go forth?
The Ancient Kings of Iran, Three kings of Persia:
These kings of Iran funded the rebuilding, had respect unto the God who dwelled in Jerusalem and they cursed all who would seek to destroy the work.
King Cyrus II/Cyrus the Great (536-530 BC), decree 536 BC, Ezra 1:1.
King Darius I (Hystaspes was his father) (521-485 BC), decree 522 BC, Ezra 4:24, 6:12. Darius I is King Ahasuerus, Esther’s husband, Ezra 4:6.
King Artaxerxes Longimanus (464-425 BC King), decree 444 BC, Nehemiah 2:1.
Ezra mentions how the people of the land frustrated the rebuilding effort all the days of Cyrus until the reign of Darius, then mentions the enemies who wrote to Ahasuerus in the beginning of his reign. It means Ahasuerus is King Darius I. Ahasuerus was viceroy (a Satrap) to his father King Xerxes I, and it would have been customary to acknowledge his name prior to his reign. This King Darius assessed a tribute upon his 120 provinces and was the first king to do so, and Esther 10:1 records this, matching historical records written about it outside of the Bible. He consolidated his provinces from 127 to 120 to effect the tax. Ahasuerus is King Darius I and he was known by other names in various languages from India to Egypt and because he had taxed the people and they resented him. Xerxes was not Esther’s husband, his son Darius was Esther’s husband.
The end of the captivity was marked by Cyrus’ Decree in his first year, 536 BC, many say 538 BC. It was about 80 years between Darius’ decree and Artaxerxes’ decree made in his 20th year (444 BC) to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem. More years until the wall was rebuilt by Nehemiah, and this is why Zerubbabel was not Governor in Nehemiah’s time.
Unto Messiah The Prince
Jesus Christ is Messiah the Prince, because a prince is the son of a king. Son of King David, Son of God (Ariel, The King). The Lion, Ariel, is God, and his whelp is his son, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Genesis 49:9. The lion is the king of the jungle, the nations of gentiles, and the young lion has a golden pelt with a black mane in its youth, just as I saw Jesus in heaven, all gold with black hair and a black beard. The hair on his head and the beard on his chin circling his face like the black mane of a young lion. The prophecies are accurate. Today lions are everywhere in Jerusalem, and the two lions carved into the Lion’s Gate are still there, even though Israelis don’t know what they mean. Satan is only like a lion in power over the unsaved, he is not the lion.
The Commandment to Restore Jerusalem - Three Decrees
Let’s Look At The Calculation Of Time From The Date of The Decrees To Rebuild Jerusalem To The Crucifixion Year. Collectively the Decree of Artaxerxes In His 20th Year Starts The Clock
God Said 62 Weeks (7s) From Rebuilding To The Cross
There are pauses or distances between the blocks of prophetic years. First, 49 years to get the Temple, city, and wall rebuilt. Second, 434 years until Messiah is cut off. A total of 483 years from the going out of the command by Artaxerxes until the Cross. The last block of 7 years is to punish the Jews according to the promise in Leviticus 26. Because they were unfaithful, not because they crucified the Lord. There are distances of time between the first and second and the second and third blocks of time to allow for human events, this is why God broke it down. The prophets understood the pauses. And God would not have given the calculations if he also had not prepared a person to understand the timing of his visitation as Isaiah and Jeremiah said would come. Their knowing the time of their visitation was a test of faith, and they failed the test, he came to his own and his own knew him not.
And After Threescore And Two Weeks (483 years) Shall Messiah Be Cut Off (The Cross In April 33AD), But Not For Himself (To Save Believers)
He died for us, not for himself. It was all done for us, Psalm 22:31. There are 483 prophecy years from the 20th year of King Artaxerxes when he decreed the wall should be built until the year of the Cross. Historical years are Gregorian calendar years as established by Pope Gregory in 1582. Today’s Hebrew calendar calculators online are based on the modern Jewish year of 365 days which has the same number of days as the Gregorian calendar. Daniel’s prophecy is based on the biblical 360-day year. Therefore, five days must be adjusted in the Jewish year calculations to calculate the biblical year of the Crucifixion.
Here’s my simple proof:
Modern Jewish calculator year for 444 BC = Jewish year 3317, 365-day year.
Less 483 prophecy years x 5 days / 365 days = -7, 5 day adjustment
Biblical year 444 BC 3310
Add 483 prophecy years 483
Gregorian year 33 AD 3793, Nisan 14-April 3rd*
Add back the 5 day adjustment 7
Modern Jewish calculator year 33 AD 3800, 365-day year
Proof of Biblical 360-day Year Calculation to Gregorian Year:
Hebrew year 3316 - 5000 + 1240 = Gregorian year 444 BC, the 7 year adjustment is rounded, therefore the base year here is 3316 and not the more accurate 3317 of the modern Jewish calculation.
Hebrew year 3793 - 5000 + 1240 = Gregorian Year 33 AD
* April 3, 33 AD, per Josephus, The Antiquities of the Jews/Book XVIII, 3:3, footnote 9 is the Gregorian month, day, and year of the Crucifixion, as determined in 1582 AD.
Consider also that Columbus, now known to have been a Jew was fleeing Catholic persecution in Spain decreed in 1492. Not a coincidence that he sailed away in 1492 to seek the new world, 92 years before Pope Gregory changed the calendar. Interesting isn’t it how Democrats have misled the public by making the people forget their history.
The Prince That Shall Come
God working through Satan’s principalities that controlled Pompey, Nero, Vespasian, and Titus destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple. Jesus’ ministry began about 29-30AD and God gave the Jews 40 years to repent, Luke 13:8. From John the Baptist, born 6 months before Jesus, we know Jesus was about 30 when he went public, from his age of 30 to 70 AD was 40 years of testing. They did not repent so God ended their religion and the single place they could sacrifice animals because Jesus Christ was the last sacrifice and we are now to look to him alone for Salvation. As Jacob prophesied, Genesis 49:8,10.
Nero was the Caesar who commanded that Jerusalem and the Temple be destroyed. Nero’s name indeed is calculated as the number 666. However he, like Antiochus IV Ephipenes, is only a type of the end times Antichrist that Jerusalem will accept as her bridegroom. The most accurate type in all respects of who Antichrist will be was Antiochus IV Epiphenes for he did all that Daniel prophesied about The Antichrist. The Maccabees took him out. Satan will again attempt to deceive the world THE. EXACT. SAME. WAY.
The Distance Between The Cross And The Seven Year Tribulation Is The Feast of Appointed Weeks As Jeremiah Said - The Wheat Harvest Of The Gentile Church
“Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserves unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest,” Jeremiah 5:24.
The Feast of Weeks is the appointed weeks of the harvest. But notice, the number of weeks is not mentioned. The length of the church age is unknown to man, but known only to God, the number of weeks he himself appointed. We would like to know the number of weeks (sevens) until the Rapture, but it is not for us to know. On day 50 after the Cross, the Holy Spirit poured out in Jerusalem as the sound of a mighty rushing wind, and until today, believers are still being baptized in the Holy Spirit speaking in other tongues. It is for all and the only thing standing in the way of receiving it is the failure to ask for it and the failure to forgive.
Unbelievers Say The Rapture Is Not In The Bible
Greek: Harpazo / Latin: Rapturo / English: Rapture - Yes it’s taught in the Bible.
Paul said the Rapture is our Blessed Hope, Titus 2:13. Our hope is to be snatched (harpazo) away before the Tribulation, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Mark 13:28-27, Psalm 90.
Psalm 90 - Moses wrote, Israel may last 80 years if she has strength, but that all will be for naught, then we all fly away. In 2024, Israel is 76 years old. All preachers preaching the end times are synced, the Rapture is soon. If it wasn’t God’s message, only one or two would be preaching it. All are preaching it.
Jesus’ Words In John 5:28-29 - The Rapture
“28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”
Who Goes In The Rapture?
Not every person who calls themselves “Christian” is part of the body of Christ. It’s up to you to ensure that you are part of his Ecclesia, the called out ones. The Ecclesia exists without church walls and without denominations, it exists by relationship alone with the risen savior, Our Lord Jesus Christ. If he doesn’t know you personally, if you haven’t followed him, you won’t be invited to the Wedding Feast.
Status Update: One seven remains to bring the Jewish remnant to salvation, and it will be carried out according to the books of Daniel, Zechariah and Revelation. The last week is for the Jews to stand alone to be punished by God for unfaithfulness according to Leviticus 26, and then to receive him has Messiah and be saved at the second coming.
His feet will touch down and split the Mount of Olives on a cloudy day when the sun does not set and the Raptured and resurrected saints will be with him. And the day he returns is only known to the Lord. It wasn’t Jesus who prophesied, but Zechariah, the words of God his Father. Jesus simply reminded them.
“4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. 6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: 7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light,” Zechariah 14:4-7.
Testing at Each Place The Tabernacle of God Was Built
God tested them 40 years in the wilderness, 40 years at Shiloh, 40 years in Jerusalem. Each location was destroyed for lack of faithfulness.
Jesus walked contrary to the Priests and Pharisees because he said he would do so, see Leviticus 26:21, 23, 24, 28, 40, 41. Six verses. The Jews have no excuse. Leviticus is the first book of the Law that the Jews teach their children even today. They were and are willingly ignorant though the world is filled with the knowledge of the glory of God and our risen Savior, Numbers 14:21, Habakkuk 2:14, Psalm 8:1, 2 Peter 3:5.
Christians Are Tested Too
Christians who are lively stones built into the Temple of God are all chastised and tested or we are not sons and daughters. Great faith is always tested. Read Hebrews chapter 12. Despise not the chastening of the Lord, Hebrews 12:5. But the Jews do despise him, so God decreed that it would be Christians who would make them jealous, Romans 10:19, 11:11. Many Jews have come to Christ as a result. The prime directive in Israeli government is to build themselves up to be like the other nations, this will never be. God created them for himself, but until they turn to Christ and say, blessed be he who comes in the name of the Lord, He will not return, Psalm 118:26, Matthew 23:39, Luke 13:35.
Jesus spoke the words of his father from the words of the prophets:
“34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which kills the prophets, and stones them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! 35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord, Luke 13:34-35, Isaiah 10:3, Psalm 118:26.
“44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knew not the time of thy visitation, Luke 19:44, Daniel 9:26, Micah 7:4, Jeremiah 8:12, 10:15, 11:23, 23:12.
Today in 2024 unbelievers say what Peter said they would say:
“Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.” For this they willingly are ignorant …”
2 Peter3:5.
God’s Calendar Is Accomplished By The Feasts Fulfilled
Abraham was one man and isolation kept his faith. But a nation needs annual events (feasts) and faithful shepherds to help it remember God and his ways.
These feasts are God’s appointed feasts, performed annually on earth as reminders that the spiritual fulfillments will be coming in the future. Four of the seven Feasts have been fulfilled. Since they are God’s Feasts, he decides the timing of the fulfillments. The Church of Jesus Christ (not Mormons) is represented by the wheat harvest, the Feast of Weeks. Jesus is the First Fruits, the barley harvest because he came not needing any threshing, he was completely sanctified. The church must be harvested and undergo threshing to beat the chaff of sin and demons out once sins are repented, forgiven and ceased. Repentance removes the demons’ legal rights, but they must be cast out. I will briefly discuss the Feasts here, but certainly not in the detail they should be studied.
✅ Feast of Passover, fulfilled in Christ’s sacrifice. The Lamb was examined for blemishes by the Priests in the illegal trial. Pilate said he was innocent. Their hands were placed on him as the sacrifice when they slapped his face. He said no words because God said they had to make a voluntary decision of their own will to sacrifice him, Leviticus 1:3, Isaiah 53:7, John 11:49-51, Acts 8:32. The whole assembly was to kill the sacrifice between the two evenings, Exodus 12:6 and they did, the priests, the Romans, and the people together. Pilate could have stopped it, he didn’t, despite the pleading of his wife. Therefore, both Jews and Gentiles crucified Jesus. The whole of Leviticus chapter 1 is about the Crucifixion. I will write a future article about this as God gave me the pieces years ago.
✅ Feast of Unleavened Bread, fulfilled in Christ’s sacrifice. This feast is intertwined with the Feast of Passover and has to do with the inspection for leaven which is sin. This feast is a great topic for study, but in this article I give preeminence to the sacrifice. All Jewish men were required to be in Jerusalem for this feast, because this is a feast of repentance and searching for sin to repent of, all come to God the same way.
✅ Feast of First Fruits, fulfilled in Christ’s resurrection, the first begotten of the dead, Revelation 1:5. Christ, the Barley Harvest has been completed. The barley sheaf, the unleavened bread (not wheat and without sin) waved before the Temple as a wave offering, Exodus 29.
✅ Feast of Weeks (Shavuot/Pentecost), fulfilled in the Holy Spirit outpouring 50 days after the Cross, see chapter two of the Book of Acts. Celebration of the 69th week of Daniel’s prophecy being completed. Celebration that the Wheat Harvest, salvation for gentile believers, is underway. Jesus Christ is the Lord of the Harvest, Matthew 9:38, Luke 10:2. Appointed weeks are for the harvest, Jeremiah 5:24. The number of appointed weeks are not known to man or to the Son of Man, Matthew 24:36. All Jewish men were required to be in Jerusalem for this feast because this is when the Holy Spirit would pour out and empower them to preach the Gospel.
⭕️ Feast of Trumpets, not yet fulfilled. Relates to the Rapture and the seven trumpet judgments upon Israel according to Leviticus 26 and Revelation 8-11. The Time of Jacob’s Trouble, Jeremiah 2:27-28, 30:7, see also Job 28:33.
⭕️ Feast of Atonement, not yet fulfilled. Relates to the second coming of Christ and how the remnant of Jews after the Tribulation will accept him in repentance as their Savior. Refer to the book of Zechariah.
⭕️ Feast of Tabernacles, not yet fulfilled. Relates to the Millennial Kingdom of Jesus Christ reigning on the earth. All Jewish men were required to be in Jerusalem for this feast, because this is the feast of Christ dwelling on earth in the Millenium.
Feast of Weeks Status - The Church Age - The Church Is The Wheat
As of 2024, 287 biblical weeks and one year have passed since 33 AD. The Feast of Weeks/Pentecost is ongoing today, but it’s about to come to a close. Believers are still being Baptised in the Holy Spirit with tongues despite the Devil’s effort to stop it through his doctrine of cessation. We know the end of the Harvest is near because all the signs Jesus mentioned are visible, and because the horsemen of Revelation are visible, even though we don’t yet know who their leader is who wears the crown on the white horse. The end of the Church Age is the end of the Feast of Weeks. The Jews were put away, until the gentile servants of God are fully gathered, the Order of Melchizedek, read Romans and Hebrews. The Rapture will happen to remove the body of Christ. For he will not be judged a second time, as was shown to Moses. The Rock will not be struck a second time. The Baptists are wrong. Paul said the Rapture will happen.
Let’s Do Some Math
This year is the Gregorian Year 2024, but we need to calculate how many biblical 7s or weeks since 33 AD. 2024 x 365 days / 360 days = 2052 biblical years - 33 biblical years prior to Pentecost = 2019 biblical years / 7 = 288.42 biblical weeks of harvest have passed since the year of Pentecost. 288 represents 287 full weeks plus 1 year. I have rounded the numbers since fractions only relate to less than one day. When Jesus said he would make it a quick work, I think he meant shorter work than to bring him to Jerusalem.
The Wheat Harvest Timeline is Counted As One Generation
“Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done,” Matthew 24:34, Mark 13:30, Luke 21:32.
“A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation,” Psalm 22:30. (Again Jesus as the seed is mentioned.)
Being that God counts the entire number of years of the harvest of Gentiles as one generation, when Jesus said this generation will not pass away, he was referring to Psalm 22. The appointed weeks of harvest without number, Jeremiah 5:24. Man likes to count generations but the generation of uncounted born again Christians is not many generations, but one generation, and while they left their bodies when they died, they are alive, because God is the God of the living, not the dead, Matthew 22:32, Mark 12:27, Luke 20:38.
The Crucifixion Week
The crucifixion week in 33 AD began as Jesus rode into Jerusalem as The Trellised Vine fettered to a donkey (another planned article) with the crowd shouting “Hosanna (Save Us) Blessed be He who comes in the Name of the Lord,” fulfilling Jacob’s prophecy, Genesis 49:11, and fulfilling Daniel’s prophecy, Daniel 9:24. As Jesus, The Lamb, rode in through the gate, the High Priest was coming out of the gate to choose the Passover lamb for inspection on Nisan 10. They believe this was done at the Sheep Gate because it was built to facilitate bringing the sacrificial animals to the altar.
The Triumphal Entry cheering was orchestrated by the Holy Spirit as praise. But the same people crying “Save Us” cried “Crucify Him” not knowing that’s exactly how God planned to triumph over Satan, and it was planned so well that Satan didn’t know God would triumph over him by the Crucifixion. Satan assumed if he could kill God that he could ascend above the Most High.
“7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory,”1 Corinthians 2:7-8. The Princes here are Satan and his fallen angels.
He was Crucified four days after the Triumphal Entry of Nisan 10 on Nisan 14 as required by Exodus 12:6. April 3, 33 AD. Every aspect of the Feasts has a literal action in the natural and a spiritual fulfillment in Christ.
Come Lord Jesus, We Who Love Your Appearing Wait For You, Amen.
There is only ever more and more to learn from within the Bible text, because the Bible is a puzzle of parables and prophecies that build to the knowledge of God and you becoming a holy creature like him. God’s will for man is found in three verses, Leviticus 11:44-45, 1 Peter 1:16, 1 Thessalonians 4:3. Repentance is the way to sanctification and immunity to temptation. The Holy Spirit Baptism is necessary.
